Mistie's journey toward becoming a massage therapist began while taking care of her father as he battled cancer. She noticed that head and foot massages reduced his constant need for pain medication. After he passed, Mistie researched different therapies - from massage to meditation - hoping to provide that same relief to others.

Mistie graduated from Irene's Myomassology Institute, in Southfield Michigan, in September 2012. She became a licensed massage therapist and opened Revelation later that year. Since then, she has built a thriving massage and wellness center with clients who are like family. 

Mistie continues to study the mind-body connection, using massage for pain relief and relaxation. She specializes in a variety of science-based techniques, including cupping, hot stones, sports massage, herbs and essential oils, and energy work.
